Time to fall back to a simple weather history.

The first  (top) weather link on your right is now in a bare bones format.

WHY?
I recorded calibrated maximum and minimum temperatures using a Comp-u-temp device.  With a push of a button I saw the previous seven days of max or min temperatures and the time they occurred on each day.  I could be away from home for five or six days and still have a complete history of temperatures.  The problem was the device( the processor) would fry easily with lightning discharges.  In 1999, 2008, 2010 and now in August 2015 that happened.  It was good business for Comp-u-temp but becoming expensive.

The temperatures now on my weather blog will be a mix of National Weather Service values recorded at the Portland jetport and my best estimate using a single day battery powered sensor.

The change will also save me more than fifteen minutes each week.  I will load only one file per week, not four.

Most of the old data back to 2007 is still available.  Now you must back into it using previous page.

I found twelve (faith) sayings- see only one below

"Faith is believing in things when common sense tells you not to." - George Seaton

Different topic but the same tone from dj or MJ or Dale or Honey,

I love to hang out in church where the room (for us a warehouse) is filled with those who have faith.  Many of you know.  You can just feel it.  Thousands and thousands and millions through the years know.

THEY JUST KNOW.

One work week at camp

Monday through Friday last week we kayaked and worked at projects. Steps removed a year ago are now repositioned at the front door. Cement pads are now deeper so the porch has corrected itself. A satellite dish is gone. Thousands of nails also; gone.
